Paul McGann in “Helen” at the Globe Theatre in London
It’s my 808th post. YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS.
I will always need this photo on my blog. I am a sucker for a nice set of collarbones and his are very hnnnngh.
Yes, honey, you can be canon.
This is the moment when I decided that I will scoop him and put him in my pocket forever.
This is the cutest photo on the internet. Also HIS TEETH. THEY ARE TERRIFYING. I like it.
Eight’s judgement face. Fear it, or something.
IDK BRO THAT’S ALL I GOT.
It’s interesting the only good thing on Monday is coming on Tumblr and seeing tons of pics of this beautiful thing.
I have nothing to contribute so here’s my profile pic full size.
#he never lost it
No, but seriously - this, right here, is Eight. This is how Eight has always been written in the Big Finish audios. When he’s in danger of dying, he gets snarky. There’s even a line about it in “The Resurrection Of Mars” - “he uses it to suppress his fear”. For years and years, this has been a defining feature of this Doctor, and now he’s doing it on our screens.
It’s completely beautiful.
Eight is so snarky it’s ridiculous. Max Warp had me in stitches. I’m insanely surprised that Moffat, aka the guy who thinks the hight of humour is saying that bowties are cool, manages to capture one of Eight’s best traits and does a superb job.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAUL MCGANN!
Not only is today special because 'The Night of the Doctor', the Doctor Who: The Day of the Doctor prequel was released, but it’s also the birthday of Paul McGann, who played the eighth Doctor.
